City of Shadows is homage to noir writer Raymond Chandler whose great works include The Big Sleep and The Long Goodbye. Filled with pithy quips, dark observations, murder and mayhem his novels are alive with death. Using images from the remarkable archive of mug shots from Central Station, Sydney. Exhibited in the 2011 Castlemaine State Festival.
